Many of you are already familiar with the wonderful eBooks and eAudiobooks available through Libby, the easy-to-use app from Overdrive. We are excited to announce that we’ve expanded our digital offerings to include thousands of magazine titles—all available with just a few taps!
With this transition to digital, you can now access popular titles like Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, and National Geographic, along with many more, all from the comfort of your home or on the go. Just search for the magazine you want, and if it's in our collection, it will be available instantly!
Here are some highlights of this new service:
Three years of back issues are available for most titles, so you won’t miss out on your favorite content.
No wait times—if you see a magazine in our collection, it’s available for you to check out right away.
Magazines do not count against your 6-item loan limit on eBooks and eAudiobooks through Libby, meaning you can borrow as many magazines as you'd like!
You can subscribe to your favorite titles, so you'll get notifications when new issues become available.
On the Libby app, you'll find a "Magazine Rack" in your "Loans" section, where all your checked-out magazines will be neatly organized.
Best of all, there's no need to return magazines—they’ll remain in your Magazine Rack for up to 7 days and then disappear automatically. But don’t worry, you can always check them out again if you need more time!
In addition to Libby, don’t forget about our hoopla Magazine Binge Pass, which gives you unlimited access to even more titles, and NCLive, where you can find additional magazines to explore.

While we know many of you love our print magazine selection, maintaining hard copies is becoming increasingly challenging for libraries due to high costs and the wear and tear they often endure. By going digital, we are eliminating these barriers, allowing you to enjoy the latest issues—whenever and wherever you like.
